This can be mounted on the ceiling and configured to detect smoke and heat. The app allows smoke detection to be disabled, enabling this to be fitted in areas likely to be dusty or smokey, e.g. a kitchen or garage.

A built in siren produces a loud, distinctive tone to wake people up if the alarm activates.
